A dynamic and engaging speaker, Hamidah Bahashwan has worked with thousands of individuals from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Australia and USA. She is a well sought consultant who has appeared as a professional presenter and resource person in Singapore’s radio and television programmes, and has been interviewed in an Australian community radio station on the Inter-religious Peace Work she participated in. No stranger to the corporate world too, Hamidah has conducted numerous programs such as stress management at work, EQ trainings for managers, building mental resilience workshop and much more to both small medium enterprises as well as multinational corporations.

Hamidah has written various articles in local newspapers and magazines and is currently writing her book for publication. Hamidah Bahashwan is a community activist over the last 32 years after graduation. In 1997, Hamidah was honoured with the Friends of MCDS Award (now known as MCYS or Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports) for her active participation in community work helping families through series of educational and family enrichment programme. She is a member of the SAFV (Society Against Family Violence) since 1996 and was elected to be Board Member over 4 terms (Vice President in 1998), served as the Board of Visitor with MCYS for 3 years, as Board member of PPIS (Singapore Muslim Women Association) for more than 6 years and as Board member of Foreign Domestic Worker Association for Skills Training (FAST) since 2005 (Assistant Treasurer since 2010 and Honorary Secretary from 2013 up to present).
